Our lesson centers offer you the convenience of teaching in a specialized learning environment with top of the line instruments and learning materials, competitive pay and the opportunity to teach multiple students at scheduled day/times.
Position Details:
Full time and part time positions available (schedules will vary based on location)
Competitive hourly compensation based on education and experience
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled music instruction to beginner through advanced students ages 5 to 12
Develop customized lessons plans and document use of curriculum; must be organized and purposeful with materials
Track student progress through provided online journals and lesson notes
Be professional, on-time, helpful, patient and friendly
Maintain consistent communication with TakeLessons staff regarding student or policy questions, schedule changes, and lesson statuses.
Requirements:
Demonstrate a commitment to students’ progress and success throughout their lesson journey
Possess a bachelor's degree in a music field or equivalent experience
Have the ability to instruct students of all ages and experience levels
Have at least one year music or voice teaching experience
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Submit to and pass a criminal background check; must not have any convictions for a crime other than minor traffic violations.
Must have your own instrument for teaching
Have reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance
Be at least 18 years old
