We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and is VERY organized! Seeking someone who is interested in gaining experience in the non-commercial radio field. This person should have a head for college and internet radio and love the music they play. This job requires a lot of outreach by phone and in person. So that being said, candidates for this job should have no fear when it comes to cold calls and approaching strangers about releases. In fact, they should be able to go about it with zeal and passion.

Responsibilities:
• Researching internet radio stations which includes gathering contacts, playlists and building relationships with programmers at these stations.
• Researching and building relationships with non-commercial and college radio stations. Weekly outreach to these stations, sending them music, promotional materials and artist reports.
• Assist with sending out reports and playlist information to the Director Of Radio/Promotions.
• When able, visiting radio stations in person (locally).
We prefer a candidate who has worked/interned at their college or local radio station. Has a head for multiple genres of music and an interest in indie artists. Has basic knowledge of non-com radio programming and formats with a desire to learn more. Is able to work 2-3 days per week from our office.
We are looking for someone that is very comfortable talking with people over the phone. We would really like to find someone who is already involved, or who has been involved in radio or the music industry. However, we encourage all to apply!
