Tinderbox Music has developed an educational internship program designed to give students an opportunity to receive hands on experience in college radio. During this internship the student will learn about the pursuit of radio airplay and day-to-day operations of the company. If a student is interested in learning about other divisions of Tinderbox (including independent digital and retail cd distribution, press promotions and music publishing), we will attempt to expose the intern to those aspects of the company.
Skills:
We require that interns have excellent phone skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, good written skills, and attention to detail. An insatiable passion for music and a sense of humor also helps. Previous music business experience is a huge plus, but your work ethic and interview will be the deciding factors.
Duties may vary depending on previous experience and job performance.
