We love our interns and strive to give them the best possible learning experience during their time with us. We offer our students one-on-one guidance, senior industry resources and Music Business 101 lectures in a relaxed atmosphere with opportunities to train in more than one department.
Artist Management: * Managing an Artist covers a wide range of duties, so students interning in the Management Department never know what the next day will bring! Duties may include updating social networking sites, helping to advance tours, creating travel itineraries and researching backline costs. Working directly with Managers and Management Assistants, interns in the Management department will see firsthand the organization and the drive it takes to create a career in music.
Radio Promotion: * Interns in the Promo Department assist with outreach to college radio stations and local music directors, help maintain the radio spins database and coordinate promotional mailings, including design work for insert flyers. During the course of a Radio Promo internship, students will be exposed to a variety of artists and learn about marketing an Artist across different genres.
Online Marketing: * Studying in our Online Marketing Department gives students a chance to get real world hands-on experience in expanding social media industry. Work with an eclectic roster of artists and help develop their online presence through innovative marketing, contests and viral campaigns. Candidates in this department should have some elementary experience with grassroots marketing and be web-savvy. HTML and video editing experience a plus, but not required.
Film & TV: * Internships in the Film & TV Department at Nettwerk require students who are passionate about helping Artists maximize their musics exposure through licensing and synchronization. Tasks include maintaining the music library for all Management, Label and Publishing clients, assisting with the planning of showcases and parties, coordinating mailings, researching trailers, films and commercials, and assisting with request paperwork.
General Office: * Are you not quite sure what you want to do in the entertainment business? Working as a General Office intern gives you the chance to be exposed to many different departments and see how Nettwerk works as a whole. You will rotate between different departments as needed, maintain the promotional product stock, coordinate mailings and help with showcases as needed.
