The Rock Games, an international battle of the bands and promotions group based out of Cincinnati, OH, is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals who are passionate about music to be part of our growing Team and be our head promoter in their local city(s).
REQUIREMENTS---
Individuals must be self-motivated and dependable. Hours are extremely flexible, but you will be required to work a minimum amount per week and promote shows as assigned. We will work with you making this the easiest job ever. Music industry / promotions experience preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES---
As a City Promoter for the IRGC, you will head up your citys qualifying shows and report to your nations IRGC president.
Create awareness and generate hype about the Rock Games and your upcoming shows by any means necessary. You will work individually and with your street team as well as events coordinators and members of the IRGC to:
Set up venues and recruit bands.
Build a street team.
Design and market Promotional material.
Hit area “hot spots” with promotional materials (posters, flyers, handouts, etc)
Pass out materials at other concerts/shows in your local area
Send traffic to the RG website the bands websites
Post viral videos/blogs; create online buzz
Expand your network and develop your new or existing websites
Think of new and exciting ways to promote the Rock Games – We want to hear your ideas!
Other projects as assigned
COMPENSATION---
Payment is based upon the number of people you pull per show. Current City Promoters hosting Rock Games trial qualifiers are booked for 27 weeks generating about 1500 USD each show just for early qualifying rounds. You will also host semi final and city final rounds. Results may vary city to city and promoter to promoter, but we will help you expand.
