Casselman’s Bar & Venue has an immediate opening for a seasoned talent buyer.
The position requires intimate knowledge of both local and national live entertainment bookings. The candidate will be proficient with the contracting and coordination of ticketed events for Casselman’s Venue. This position requires negotiation proficiency, event production coordination, contracting live entertainment, building relationships with artist agents, complex calendar scheduling and show Proforma analysis.
The Candidate will work closely with Casselman’s existing in-house team of talent buyers, marketing teams, corporate event coordinator, interns, production crews and owners.
The talent buyer may operate as an independent contractor to Casselman’s and compensation will largely be commission and performance based.
Qualifications for this position:
• Minimum of 3 years experience with live entertainment bookings
o Knowledge of local Denver Metro Bands a plus
o Previous work history with AEG/Live Nation a plus
• Ability to interpret and analyze event budgets & proforma
o Ticket Sales Estimations
o Production Cost Budgets
o Advertising Requirements
o Hospitality & Technical Riders
o Strategic Partnerships & Same Genera Lineups
• Coordinate advertisements with local radio and other media outlets
• Ability to understand artist/agent requirements and delegate to production & marketing teams
• General computer & telephone skills as required for contracting; MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, Fax Machine, Email etc…
