The Village Voice is seeking a highly motivated individual interested in pursuing a career in business, management and sales to assist the sales and sponsorship department on a part-time basis. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the research, organization and execution of web and print advertising campaigns for the Village Voice. Responsibilities will include the following:
• Research leads for potential advertisers
• Perform competitive ad tracking analysis
• Compile and organize media kits, sales sheets and other reference materials for staff
• Assist with marketing mailings for special issues to key clients
• Work on key sponsorships for special events
Job Requirements:
Strong computer and phone skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to multitask and organize required.
This position is unpaid and applicant must receive college credit for this internship.
